Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take insurance?

I do not take insurance, but am happy to offer you a superbill to submit to your insurance if they cover out of network care.

How often do you see your clients?

I see clients weekly, and at times, we may decide to meet twice per week to support deeper, more focused work. This rhythm allows the therapeutic relationship to develop in a way that supports the kind of meaningful, lasting change I’m most interested in facilitating.

This style of work is relational, vulnerable, and intentionally paced — and it simply doesn’t unfold the same way with less frequent sessions. Therapy is most effective when we build and sustain momentum together.

While of course there’s space for vacations and life interruptions, I do not offer therapy less often than once per week. If you're looking for sessions once or twice a month, this may not be the right fit.

If you're ready for depth, and willing to show up consistently, I’m here for the work.

What is the length of a session?

Our initial conversation will be 15 minutes on the phone to decide if we want to work together.  The first true session would be 85 minutes and 50 minutes thereafter.

What do your sessions cost?

My rate for individual therapy is $200 per 50-minute session.

This fee reflects the depth and specialization of my work, and is consistent with current market rates for experienced therapists in this field.

I believe therapy should be both sustainable and equitable. I reserve a limited number of reduced-fee spots for clients with low socioeconomic access — those spaces are currently full, and I maintain a waitlist.

When you pay the full fee, you’re not only investing in your own growth — you’re also helping to make this work accessible to others who would not otherwise be able to afford it. That’s part of how equity lives in this practice.

What is therapy?

Therapy is a collaborative relationship — one built on trust, honesty, and a shared commitment to your growth. I don’t offer quick fixes or surface-level support. Instead, I offer a grounded, attuned space where you can slow down, turn inward, and begin to see yourself more clearly.

The work we do together will ask something of you. It takes vulnerability, presence, and a willingness to get curious about the patterns that have shaped you. But you don’t have to do it alone. I bring warmth, precision, and deep respect for your process — and I trust in your capacity for change.

I don’t believe you’re broken. I do believe you’re ready. Therapy can illuminate what’s been hard to name, soften what’s felt stuck, and help you reconnect with the deeper intelligence already within you.
